Federation University Australia is pleased to announce the commencement of two streams of English and Academic Preparation (EAP) programs: EAP Intermediate and EAP Advanced.
The streams are designed to cater for international students entering Federation University Australia programs with IELTS entry requirements of 6.0 or 6.5. Each stream runs for up to 20 weeks, with students joining the program at 5-week intervals based on their IELTS entry score.
EAP Intermediate provides a pathway for students into higher education programs requiring IELTS entry of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0.
EAP Advanced provides a pathway for students into higher education programs requiring IELTS entry of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0.
The EAP Advanced program is a preparatory pathway for students wanting to enter the Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Social Work (Qualifying), Master of Human Movement (Social Sciences), Bachelor of Food and Nutritional Science and higher degrees by research.
Commencement dates for entry into Semester 1, 2017
A special introductory intake will be offered providing students a preparatory pathway into Semester 1, 2017. An EAP Intermediate 10-week and EAP Advanced 10-week program will commence on Monday 21 November, 2016, for students intending to commence programs (requiring IELTS entry up to 6.5) in Semester 1, 2017.
Applications for 10 week programs should be submitted by 7 October 2016. Applications for 5 week programs should be submitted by 21 November 2016.
Full 20-week programs (EAP Intermediate and EAP Advanced) will commence on Monday 13 February 2017, for entry into Semester 2, 2017.
